Adult Basic Education

These transition classes are for students who first need to improve basic reading, writing and math skills before moving into high-school equivalency preparation or diploma. Instruction is delivered through a combination of computer-based programs and teacher-led small group work in a supportive atmosphere.

English as second language students who are ready to transition to HSE are also encouraged to join the ABE classes and can take them in combination with ESL classes.

Class schedule:

  • Monday's 9:30am - 12:30am
  • Tuesdays 2:00pm -3:00pm
Classes are currently only offered through distance learning.  Students must have access to computer and internet to attend the remote sessions.  Cell phones may work, however computers, Chromebooks, or tablets are recommended.
